Boulogne Eastern Cemetery in Boulogne, France, is a site of great historical significance, with soldiers from Fromelles who died of wounds buried here. Fifty-one identified Australian Fromelles soldiers are commemorated here. Boulogne was one of the three base ports most used by the British Armies in France and Flanders throughout the war. The total number of burials is 5,577.
