Located in Steenwerck, France, Croix-du-Bac British Cemetery is a significant site that honors the memory of World War 1 soldiers. Seven Identified Australian Fromelles soldiers are commemorated here. The cemetery reflects the heavy toll of the war on the region. Remarkably, it also contains graves of soldiers from different Commonwealth countries, including New Zealand and Canada.
